There will be Young Chefs Cooking and Craft Courses that will run for four weeks. These are taking place during the summer holidays and are free programmes open to children eligible for free school meals. Participants learn cooking skills, make healthy meals together, and use crafts and other activities to record recipes and learn about nutrition and where food comes from. There will also be a trip to West Town Farm.

Operate a youth club which meets throughout the school holidays in both Forches area of Barnstaple (Monday) and Slade Valley in Ilfracombe (Wednesday). The Youth Club is open to all children and includes:
- A Junior Youth Club (ages 6–8 years). Activities include games, crafts, table tennis and much more. Cost 20p, snacks included. Every Monday 4.30-5.30pm at Forches Children Centre, Forches Avenue, Barnstaple
- Youth club for 9-20 years with activities to suit every age. Monday evenings 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, at Forches Children Centre, Forches Avenue, Barnstaple from 16 July onwards.
