NHS Outcomes Framework
The NHS Outcomes Framework for England was first published in December 2010 and sets out the outcomes and corresponding indicators that will be used to hold the NHS to account for the outcomes it delivers through commissioning health services. The NHS Outcomes Framework for 2012/13 was published in December 2011 and includes 60 indicators across five domains. The framework and supporting technical documents can be accessed below.
A short summary of the domains and indicators is available through the link below.
During 2012/13, the Cluster of NHS Devon, Plymouth and Torbay created a ‘dashboard’ for the NHS Outcomes Framework showing performance and trend information for Devon, Plymouth and Torbay where available. This can be accessed below.
Following the implementation of national health reforms, the commissioning of health services in Devon is now coordinated by Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group and South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group.
NHS outcomes framework reports for these organisations will appear here in due course.
